World in a Weekend

Friday - Sunday @ various locations

It’s the weekend the world comes to Stratford. SpringWorks’ World In A Weekend runs through Sunday at different locations all around the city - you’ll see all different forms of puppetry in some of the most amazing ways. Visit www.springworksfestival.ca for a complete event schedule.

Stratford Guided Walking Tour

2-3:15 p.m. Friday @ City Hall

Come learn about the Festival City’s history, finding out all sorts of things of the historic downtown you didn’t know. Get you tickets online then strap on your sneakers - tours start on the steps of city hall.

Mitchell 150

Friday - Sunday @ various locations in Mitchell

The celebrations are on in Mitchell as they welcome people back to town for the biggest party in years. Make sure you check out the complete event schedule found at www.westperth.com as events run through Sunday evening.

Improv Comedy

8 p.m. @ Brch & Wyn

Stargazing and Astronomy

2 p.m. & 9 p.m. @ Wildwood Conservation Area

Special guest Alex Westman brings solar astronomy for the afternoon presentation and returns for an evening session featuring views of the night sky through a high-tech telescope. Meet at the park’s beach pavilion - gate fees apply.

The culmination of a week’s worth of learning hits the water as students from Stratford Summer Music’s Jazz Academy take to the music barge to cap their experience.
