Dave Swinkels is as close as he's ever been to being the Face of Horror.
The Stratford resident leads the 'Seance' group against four other contestants: David Venegas, Angela Ledbetter, Nicole Harris and Jeremy Giles.
As of Friday morning, Swinkels held down first place in this round, and voting ends in just over six days.
The winner collects the title as the new 'Face of Horror', but also a $13,000 prize and the chance to team up with horror movie fan favourite Kane Hodder (Jason from the Friday the 13th franchise) for a photoshoot.
