Celebrate the Stratford Symphony Orchestra’s 20th season with an exhilarating evening of music at the Orchestral Fireworks Concerts on Saturday, April 5, at 7:30 p.m.
Taking place at the Avondale United Church, this performance, conducted by William Rowson, will feature both exciting orchestral works and breathtaking solos from some of the region’s most talented musicians.
The concert will highlight the talents of soloists Gwendolyn Nguyen, who will perform David Popper's Hungarian Rhapsody for Cello and Orchestra, Op. 68, and the dynamic duo of Kaye Royer (clarinet) and Dan Armstrong (contrabass) in Giovanni Bottesini's Gran Duo for Clarinet & Contrabass.
These pieces are sure to impress with their virtuosic flair and emotional depth, showcasing the versatility and artistry of the orchestra’s members.
