Current details:
Blowing snow is expected Wednesday.
Hazards:
Very poor to near zero visibility at times in snow and blowing snow.
Timing:
Early Wednesday morning through Wednesday evening.
Discussion:
A low pressure system will move into the area Wednesday, bringing snow and moderate winds gusting up to 70 km/h. Visibility will be significantly reduced in blowing snow throughout the day, especially for areas that recently received fresh snow.
Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility.
If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.
