A popular shopping excursion is expanding this year with a record number of destinations, Stratford’s tourism alliance says.
Destination Stratford says the Christmas Trail will feature a total of 33 stops, each with its own hand-selected holiday item.
The Christmas Trail was launched in 2014 and has become a visitor and local favourite each season.
“This unique, retail-focused trail is always highly anticipated and has become a cherished holiday experience,” said Zac Gribble, executive director of Destination Stratford.
To take part in the Christmas Trail costs $35 plus tax. Participants will get to customize their own merry adventure by selecting six unique gifts from the fun, festive and trendy offerings across the 33 stops.
The Christmas Trail can be purchased in person at Destination Stratford, at 47 Downie St. (Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.), as well as Bradshaws at 129 Ontario St., open Monday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Stratford is the best spot to hub and spoke as you make your way to St. Marys and Shakespeare to discover more holiday gifts included in your selection.

Participating Christmas Trail stops include: Apt. 6 Skin Co, The Barkery, Black Angus Bakery & Catering, Blowes Cards and Gifts, Bradshaws, Brch & Wyn, The British Touch (Shakespeare), Dale + Co, Distinctly Tea, Got It Made, Hyggeligt Fabrics (St. Marys), illume Wellness Spa, JENN & Larry’s, Junction 56 Distillery, Kinna Sohna, La Osa Jewelry & Vintage, Lady Glaze Doughnuts, MacLeods Scottish Shop, Miss Sophie’s, Olive Your Favourites, Poppin Kettle Corn, revel, Rocky Mtn Chocolate, Small-Mart General Mercantile, Snapping Turtle Coffee Roasters (St. Marys), Stilettos & Sawdust, Stone Home Creatives (St. Marys), Stratford Country Club, Touchmark, Treasures, Werk-Shop, White-Balmer Shoes, and Wills & Prior.
Trail vouchers are presented at each of the six stops of your choice to redeem your holiday item. Christmas Trail vouchers are valid until Dec. 20, 2022.
