A fun way to spread last minute holiday cheer is coming to Stratford this weekend.
The Holiday Card Pop-up is taking place on Saturday, Dec 21 from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Livery Yard. Put on by Paws on Patrol Stratford the event will see cards be sold to support the Paws on Patrol Pet Pantry drive with half the profits benefiting the pantry.
“The funds raised support a donation program that helps families and pets in need, especially when essential items are not available in stock or typically donated,” said Tyler Jouwsma the Owner of Paw on Patrol Stratford. “With this fund, we can purchase critical supplies such as kitten formula, puppy food, blankets, fitted jackets, crates, beds, and specialized foods like diabetic cat or dog food—items that are often urgently needed but harder to come by.”
This program helps to keep local pets in their homes as long as possible. The cards will be $5 for one, $10 for two, and $16 for three.
“All cards are pet themed,” said Jouwsma. “We have holidays and Christmas, thank you cards, birthday cards, and even cards for those who have lost pets.”
Donations for the pet pantry are always welcome and appreciated. Cash and gift card donations are much appreciated as are cat and dog foot, cat litter, and any other animal items.
