If you know of a social worker who is really making an impact locally, the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW) wants to hear from you.
The organization is looking for a social worker who:
- Has advocated for clients, policy, social justice or equity and it has benefitted colleagues, clients or the community
- Demonstrated leadership that has positively impacted their clients, teams, and community.
- Has provided innovation and creativity that has led to positive change.
If the answer was yes to any of the questions, consider submitting a nomination for the OASW’s Local Distinguished Social Worker Award. This award recognizes social workers and OASW members whose leadership, advocacy, or innovation has benefited co-workers and the community.
Share your nomination by Monday, Feb. 3.
