During the months of September, October, November and December, participating local auto dealerships across the region donated $25 from each sale to United Way Perth-Huron (UWPH)’s annual campaign and now, the results are in from Keys for Community.
“We are grateful to the six participating dealerships for their support of United Way,” said UWPH Executive Director, Ryan Erb. “We appreciate their commitment to helping us build a better community with the help of their customers. Their generosity speaks volumes about their commitment to the communities they call home and makes a real difference in the lives of vulnerable people across the region.”
Participating dealerships across included DeJong Auto Ltd in Brucefield ($200 raised), Pentastic Motors in Gorrie ($750 raised), Stratford City Mazda ($1,200 raised), Stratford Honda ($2,925 raised), Stratford Motor Products ($2,725 raised) and Stratford Nissan ($1,225 raised).
In total, $9,025 was raised for the UWPH campaign. Dollars raised during Keys for Community go towards UWPH’s local work across Perth-Huron, supporting over 40 local partners and programs working to reduce poverty, house people, and support mental health and well-being.
