Climate Momentum is excited to share a taste of tomorrow in the upcoming Climate Conversation, Jan. 23, 7-9 p.m. at the City Hall Auditorium. The topic is Top Trends in the Future of Housing, using sustainability to address affordability and independence
We’re delighted to welcome Derek Satnik of West5 and S2E Technologies, to speak on the future of sustainable energy in housing! West5 is a sustainable community on the NW edge of London, which features solar panels, battery storage for generated electricity, EV charging stations, and heat pumps.
We know that in the long run renewable energy is cheaper, and we know that oil and gas pollution is the primary driver of climate change. This is the story of the use of available energy tools to change to a sustainable future. Satnik is one of the primary designers of West5, and is a dynamic speaker. We are indeed fortunate that he is coming to share the experience of building sustainable energy into the design of a community and to learn more about options that might be wise moves for Stratford residents.
