Environment Canada is warning long weekend travellers that lake effect snow squalls will continue today (Sunday) before moving south of the area this evening.

Conditions that change from clear skies to heavy snow within just a few kilometres are possible. Visibility will be suddenly reduced to near zero at times in heavy snow and blowing snow, the weather agency warns.

Snow squall warning continued for:
   Listowel - Milverton - Northern Perth County
   Stratford - Mitchell - Southern Perth County
   Mount Forest - Arthur - Northern Wellington County

Lake effect snow squalls today.

Hazards:
Significantly reduced visibility at times in heavy snow and blowing snow.
Additional snowfall accumulations of 10 to 15 cm.
Westerly winds gusting up to 70 km/h.
