An annual community event is letting you get the early jump on your holiday shopping. The twenty-third annual Stratford Rotary Club, Christmas Craft Festival is taking place Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

There will be something for everyone as there are over 60 different vendors coming to the event.

“We have nearly 70 vendors,” said Paul Roulston, the chair craft show committee. “It’s vendors from all over the area, but we also have vendors from as far away as the Ottawa Valley, and Windsor, it's a very wide mix of vendors from all over the province.”

The Rotary Complex will play host to the Festival which will run from 5-9 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m.-5 pm. on Saturday, and 10 a.m-4 p.m on Sunday. Support from the community has allowed the Rotary Club to continue putting on events and raising money for local projects.

“It’s been a good income generator and we have been able to support community projects,” said Roulston. “We have supported programs such as the respite house, the Rotary Aquabox program, and we support the Stratford General Hospital. We have committed $300,000 to the mental health department.

Admission is $6 for anyone 12 and older, while anyone under that is free.
