Check out what's planned for New Year's Eve in Stratford

Events start at 11 a.m. with the Cushion Concert hosted by the Stratford Symphony Orchestra (SSO) and goes until the early morning with various parties across the city

New Year’s Eve in Stratford is jammed packed. 

A number of events are planned for the holiday, taking place throughout the day and across the Festival City.

Starting in the morning, the Stratford Symphony Orchestra (SSO)’s Cushion Concert returns. The popular mini-concert takes place at Stratford Intermediate School and is free, with no need to reserve tickets. This year the concert features two clarinets: Kaye Royer of SSO and special guest Katherine Carlton. 

The HUB is hosting a New Year’s Eve dinner and show featuring Stelle & Carter from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.. Stelle and Carter will be playing a varied mix of Stevie Wonder, Fleetwood Mac, and much more. The HUB is encouraging everyone to reserve their table on their website

Heritage Hops Brew Co is hosting a New Year’s bash with musical stylings from Luke Robertson playing a mix of alternative and oldies and Jeff & Trish playing country hits. 

The Restaurant at the Bruce is hosting what it's calling “the culinary experience of the year.” Reservations are required, with tickets available here

Full House Bar and Grill is hosting a Dinner & Dance, by reservation as well.

Rockwell Lounge is hosting a five course New Year’s Eve menu and welcoming Sammy Duke to perform. Duke is known for his folk-fusion music that blends world-beat, rock, and soul. The evening starts at 9 p.m..

Later that night, the Relic Lobby Bar is hosting a 1920’s night to rival The Great Gatsby, as the promotion reads. Featuring live jazz courtesy of the Jonathan Blaak trio, the party starts at 9 p.m. with no cover charge.  

At the Hall on 15 Church St., Crackerjack Palace is hosting a now sold-out show that will cover songs from the Beatles and the Rolling Stones to Steely Dan and the Eagles. 

Braai Bar is hosting a VIP Disco Dance Party at 10 p.m. with an iced oyster bar. The Braai House is also hosting a tasting menu event for the holiday as well. Reservations are available here

Back at the HUB, after the Stelle & Carter show, a 90’s themed party will run from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.. 

The Pazzo Party at Pazzo Pizzeria starts at 10 p.m. and goes all night. Featuring $7 pizza and pints, a dance party and special New Year’s Eve features. Reservations can be booked here

As always, the Lights on Stratford: Winter Festival of Lights runs on New Year’s Eve until 10 p.m..
