Celtic music stars Natalie MacMaster and Donnell Leahy are set to perform at Mitchell Arena on Saturday.
The talented husband-and-wife musicians are well-known for their talents and are currently touring around Canada and the U.S.
MacMaster, a native of Cape Breton, is a fiddler and step dancer. Likewise, Leahy is well-regarded fiddler and his Irish/Cape Breton heritage contributes to his music. The musicians' combined album sales exceed one million.
The couple have performed at arts centres across North America, and their enthusiastic traditional folk music loving fan base (which boasts Shania Twain and The Chieftains) stretches from Sydney, Nova Scotia to Sydney, Australia, per a media release.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and the performance begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $100.
