StratfordToday received the following Letter to the Editor from reader Purlanne Budansew, in regards to local road work:

My questions are about the local road work. Huron Street narrowing down to one lane each direction, makes it almost impossible to cross Huron street unless your at a intersection with lights. Britannia Street was under construction for a few weeks, crossing at John Street was out. The lights for one lane makes it constant traffic, then the other set of lights turn green and again, constant flow of cars. Turning left off Huron onto William or Mornington is also confusing. Just watch the traffic. Cars are not sure when to cross.

Why are there cement curbs jutting out into the road on a few streets, including Albert?

Why was there four way stop at Albert and 1st cross street. I see just recently they have been removed.

When the "Round About" is there, can cars just turn left, or are they to do the roundabout before turning?

My sympathy goes out to the city workers who are going to do the snow removal this winter! Good luck crew!
