Levern Gould, age 94, of Stratford passed away peacefully at Stratford General Hospital on July 3,2024. Beloved and devoted husband of Joan Gould. They were married on June 11, 1955 in Stratford and farmed in Fullarton Township until 1964 when they sold the farm and moved to Stratford. Levern was employed at Fram Canada as a mechanic for 34 years.
He was the loving and caring father of Wayne (Dorothy) and Pamela (Rick) Costanzo. Also, grandchildren Sarah (Nathan) Gordon and Madelyn & Sam Costanzo, as well as Great Grandchildren Gabriel, Malia, Mackenzie, and Taya Gordon.
Family was his life, and he was happy when they could all be together. He spent many enjoyable hours doing stained glass, wood working, and polishing his antique car. Levern was the son of the late Thomas and Mary Gould and was born in Collingwood and moved to Fullarton Township with his parents and sister, Ina in 1947. Levern was predeceased by his sister July 25, 2015. He was a faithful member of the Elgin Missionary Church. He is a kind, thoughtful, loving man, always willing to lend a hand, he will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Elgin Missionary Church in Stratford on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 10am with funeral to follow at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations to Stratford General Hospital Foundation or Elgin Missionary Church would be greatly appreciated by the family.
