Frederick Albert Fruin died at the age of 84, on January 31, 2025 at Spruce lodge in Stratford, ON.
He was a loving friend to his partner Patricia for many years before they married and became her husband in October of 2007. They have shared 37 years of life together.
Fred is the father of four daughters: Bonnie, Molly, Tina and Mary-Lou and two step-sons, Paul and Ben. He is predeceased by his father Robert Fruin and mother Myrtle Fruin (Lucas), and five siblings – one brother and four sisters – and he leaves behind another four sisters and a brother to mourn his loss.
Fred loved to collect Hot Wheels and spent time relaxing through the art of craftmaking – creating figurines from beads and doing leatherwork. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and the Army, Navy, Airforce in Stratford.
He will be lovingly remembered and missed.
