Verna Mabel Ebel passed away peacefully at Hillside Manor on November 28th in her 97th year with her daughter Terry by her side. Born in Stratford to parents August Schultz and Edna Becker. Mom was the last surviving member of her siblings, Pearl Forbes, Dorothy Holt, Alvin Shultz, and Charles Shultz.
Predeceased by her husband Roy in 1979. Her partner Alfred Brown in 1979. Her daughter Sandra Schippling in 2019. Her sons-in-law Barry Schippling and Gerald Lantz in 2015.
She will forever be in her daughter Terrys heart. Grandsons Chad Lantz, Jason Lantz, Cory Petrie, Paul Petrie. 7 great grandchildren.
A private family interment will take place. At Verna's request there will be no funeral or visitation. Donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society or to the charity of your choice. A special heartfelt thank you to all the wonderful staff at Hillside who cared for Mom.
