The 32nd running of the Patrick Cook Memorial Elementary Cross Country Meet was held at the SERC site after school on September 24.

Thanks to over 100 staff and student volunteers, the run was once again an incredible success, a race organizer said.

Just over 600 students between the ages of 6 and 13 participated in 14 different races. Twenty schools entered the event this year.

Jill Devereaux (Avon) tied a record for the 9U Girls race with a time of 5 minutes and 46 seconds.

Morgan Mott (Bedford) set a new record for the 11U Girls race with a time of 6 minutes and 55 seconds.
