Stratford Board Gamers Association rolls the dice on fun and friendship

Are you looking for a way to improve your game play, learn or teach some strategy, or are rolling the dice for the first time? In any of those cases, the Stratford Board Gamers Association may be for you.

“We are a community of board game enthusiasts,” said Tony Barclay, organizer of the Stratford Board Gamers Association. “We all love and share a passion for tabletop gaming.”

Over 100 community members are a part of the group's Facebook page which features all things board gaming, including reviews, and news about upcoming events.

“The page continues to grow,” said Barclay. “It's great to see the passion of a community of board gamers. You can bring your games, or simply join others who are playing. It’s a great way to learn new games and meet new people in the process.”

The group meets regularly at various locations with Jobsite Brewing playing host to many of the events that are open to anyone in the public. The next meeting for the group is taking place on October 25 from 5:30-11 p.m.

“We partnered with the City for our next event,” said Barclay “We are hosting the next board game night at the Stratford Agriplex.”

Pre-registration is required for all participants, and there is a small cost of four dollars to help cover the cost of renting the space. Registration details can be found here, and to keep tabs on the group visit their Facebook page.
