Stevie T. and Luke Robertson take the stage for the first of the May Music Nights at Bijou. The small plates menu begins at 8:15 p.m. 

UnHeard Of plays on Saturday, at the same time.

Stratford Farmer's Market 

7 a.m. to Noon @ Burnside Agriplex, 357 McCarthy Rd., Stratford. 

Organized by the Stratford and District Agricultural Society. Indoor market expands to outdoors May to October. Veggies, cheese, meats, baking, flowers, crafts, handmade gifts. Backbacon on a bun and farmer's sausage available via fundraising BBQ.

9 a.m. to noon @ Avondale United Church, 194 Avondale Ave., Stratford. 

Learn how to design, choose native plants, and create a successful pollinator garden. 

Book launch and signing for Evie’s Haven

Noon to 2 p.m. @ Brch & Wyn, 245 Downie St., Stratford. 

Calling all romance lovers! Come to Brch & Wyn on Saturday to get your signed copy of Evie's Haven direct from author Lisa Plaice. There will be a raffle for some book swag, and free coffee/beverages for everyone who buys a copy that day.

The Fourth Be With You

7:30 p.m. @ Avondale United Church, 194 Avondale Ave., Stratford.

Film score lovers delight, as the Stratford Symphony Orchestra brings the best of hollywood to Avondale, with their concert of scores from Star Wars, Gone with the Wind, The Sea Hawk, and the world premier suite of music from Brotherhood, composed by SSO's esteemed conductor and composer, William Rowson.

Stratford Symphony Orchestra Cushion Concert

2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. @ The Stratford Public Library, 19 St. Andrew St., Stratford. 

Join the library for a “magical” musical experience with Clarinettists Kaye Royer and Katherine Carlton of the SSO. Participants will be captivated by music and encouraged to interact through movement and conversation. All ages welcome.
